Multi-District Litigation is referred by attorneys an the courts as "MDL." In the Ortho Evra injury cases, consisting of stroke and other serious injuries, lawsuits in Federal Courts have now been consolidated for pre-trial purposes in an MDL in the Northern District of Ohio. Led by a solid band of experienced law firms, the MDL will result in expedited discovery of document and depositions. Much important work has already been accomplished and many clients will soon receive fact sheets or similar questionaire's to complete regarding their cases. The firms are assembling client medical records as ordered by the Court and, so far, there appear to be no major delays in moving the cases forward.
